Changes to Membership Fees for JudoSA

We were advised last month that JFA has increased capitation and State affiliation fees effective 1 July 2017. Consequently, JudoSA needs to raise its membership fee for seniors and juniors. The JudoSA Board has raised the JudoSA fees as follows:

Senior Members         - $100

Junior Members          - $50 (for the first child)
                                    - $45 (for subsequent children in the family)

Associate Members    - $150 (for members who are not affiliated to a JudoSA club)

Note, this fee is effective 1 July 217, therefore members renewing prior to that date will be charged at the current rate, for the following 12 months.

New Membership Category for JudoSA
In response to suggestion made at the recent Strategic Forum, and through other sources, the Board has resolved to provide a mechanism for parents of junior players to have a vote in the organisation. Accordingly, a new category of Non-Playing member has been set up for adult non-playing members including parents, social, alumni and anyone with an interest in judo. These members will be full voting and participating members of JudoSA. However, this membership category will not be covered by JFA insurance and will not be entitled to participate in any activities on the judo mat. The fee for Non-playing members will be $50 per person and is effective 1 July 2017.
